It was perfect! Simple to locate from CDG and only a short/easy walk from the station with my bags, I was immediately greeted by a very helpful and warm Veronica who checked me in and explained the Hotel’s arrangements, as well as some attributes in the surrounding area. She allowed me to check in early, and the facilities in my room were all very clean and comfortable! I had a great view of the courtyard, with little to no noise interference from the surrounding neighbourhood, which was a calm and cool area to visit, and the hotel itself had great character. Upon my return in the evening, I met Leo who was equally as kind and great to chat too, with a genuine interest in discussing Manchester and my reason for visiting Paris, which was a very heartwarming experience as travelling alone can be a quite scary and isolating. Checkout the next day was brilliant, and they allowed me to keep my bags in the hotel for the afternoon until I made my way onwards to Bordeaux. As a young woman travelling alone, I felt safe and content! Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy, quiet place to stay in Paris, and would definitely return in the future.

Enjoyed staying here as part of a tour group on my first trip to Paris under previous ownership, who renovated it to its current incarnation, so on my long-awaited return trip, even after researching other hotels in the area online, it remained my first choice. It was good to see that not only has the current ownership maintained the property, but has improved it as well, making the most of its charm and attributes. The 12th Arrondissement, where it’s located, while being typically Parisian in its attractiveness and having a lot to offer the visitor, maintains a workaday vibe, coming across as relaxed and unassuming. Boulangerie Bo, rated one of the best in the city, is a stone’s throw away, anchoring a Belle Époque gem featured in Kathy Borrus’ 500 Buildings of Paris, the small square it sits on the beneficiary of a slew of new restaurants and eateries, adding new life to this charming neighborhood. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the available continental breakfast was a great way to start the day, with a post office, dry cleaners, laundromat, and grocery/department store Monoprix all close by.

The room was wonderful. I was treated to an upgrade on the top floor with a little larger room which was wonderful to spread out. The location was okay, about a 5-minute walk to the metro and 15 minutes to the train station. There are lots of places to eat around. Breakfast was the typical continental food with self-service coffee. I was there early, so there was no wait at all. The staff was excellent, especially the gentleman at the desk overnight. He lent me his adaptor for charging my phone when my adaptor would not work. THANK YOU!

For a mid range Paris hotel, this place is exceptional. I am not rating them 10 because I did not try the breakfast, but I'll come back and try it! The entrance/reception area is small but welcoming. Members of staff are extremely attentive and communicate well. My room was not huge but a good size by Parisian standards. It was spotlessly clean, and everything felt well looked after. The bed was supercomfortable with lovely sheets. The bathroom was renovated and spotless.

This small hotel is close to the Gare de Lyon but away from the tourist horde. Set in a quiet street there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around to choose from. The room was small but perfectly comfortable and well appointed. The staff were generally charming and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast as a start to the day. The air conditioning worked extremely well and was very welcome. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler.
